How to Market a Dry Herb Vaporizer Accessories Shop?!

As my site nears completion and the stock nears the warehouse, a fascinating question I ask myself again and again is how exactly to advertise this dry herb accessory website?

A decade ago now, when I was a spring chicken in my early 20s, I had various e-commerce and affiliate websites online - and all I did was use Google Adwords to advertise these websites.

Simply pay per click, do some maths, adjust the website, and.. that's it?

But due to the aromatic nature of the product, I can't actually advertise using Google Adwords which is obviously frustrating, as it's expensive but... well.. easy.

I would generally like to have a 'it speaks for itself' type shop... where good products, support, and pricing.. well.. speak for themselves.

But to get to that point, The Vapetrix, which at the moment is mainly centred around Arizer Solo / Max vape stems and accessories, does need to get those initial customers through the door.

So.. I made a list of ideas for marketing, and honestly, I hate looking at it!

      1. Make own Short Videos TikTok, Insta, YT
      2. Reddit Groups
      3. Freebies to YouTubers - with affiliate links.
      4. Find Forums
      5. Local and Non Local Facebook Groups!
      6. SEO and Blog Content
      7. Affiliate Links
      8. Conferences etc
      9. https://fuckcombustion.com/
      10. Tony. Lc signs. Enjoy it!

The idea of going onto Forums or having to reach out to influencers or whatever, is honestly a little off putting for me.

That being said, I suppose its what the doctor called for!

One thing which I think I'm going to try 'first' (although I think I will be trying all these ideas) is probably Youtube videos.

They seem to rank well, get instant traction.. and I do have a history of making epic Runescape youtube videos, surely this 15 year old skill will cross over, right... right?! I did get 100,000 views on one classic video with Mod Mark once!

Anyway I digress...

One thing that I would like to do is... something I enjoy the most, and also ideally something quite effective.

I reckon videos of me showing the latest and great VAPETRIX glass stems could do quite well.

One influencer online is called Tony from LC Signs.. I honestly love his style of videos, just starting with something totally preposterous and then going straight into why his LED signs are 'the best'!

Plus I genuinely like the idea of making funny videos versus.. trawling through forums and trying to 'naturally' insert posts/comments about The Vapetrix which just feels a bit lame and fake tbh...

One issue with me though, is my main area of expertise is Arizer, unfortunately I've been fairly loyal to them... I don't have a huge amount of experience outside of Arizer. Although in a sense they're all *somewhat* similar That being said, I have bought a Dynavap and will see where things take me!

Well, again, thanks for reading if anyone is!

Also, before I head off... I'm really enjoying writing, I know I've said this in a few posts but I feel like I'm almost writing a dairy about my life, well, my Vape life. I wonder if I should include more personal stuff?!
