Mighty+ vs Venty: Which Storz & Bickel Portable Is Right for You?

Choose the Venty if you want the faster, more adjustable portable: it heats in about 20 seconds, has an adjustable airflow dial and connects to the Storz & Bickel Web App. Choose the Mighty+ if you want the simpler, lower-priced, proven portable: it heats in about a minute, has a ceramic-coated filling chamber and can run from the wall while plugged in with the right charger. Both are hybrid (convection and conduction) devices, cover 40 °C to 210 °C and charge to about 80% in around 40 minutes with a supercharger.

This comparison covers only these two Storz & Bickel portables. For other matchups, see our Solo 3 vs Mighty and Frolic vs Mighty reviews. More guides are in our Storz & Bickel hub.

Figures come from the Storz & Bickel support pages and our product listings. The weight gap is small, so portability is close to a tie, though the Mighty+ is shorter and wider and the Venty is slimmer and longer.

2. Heat-Up and Temperature

This is the clearest difference. The Venty's patented mini-heater reaches temperature in about 20 seconds, which is what makes it feel quick for a short session. The Mighty+ takes roughly 60 seconds. If you often start a session on impulse or use the device several times a day, those 40 seconds add up. If you switch on and then load your capsule, the wait is hardly noticed.

Both cover the same range and both have Boost and Superboost presets that add 15 °C steps from the base temperature, so you can finish a session at a higher temperature. The Venty also has digital control through the display and the Web App. Our Venty overview explains how its heater works.

3. Airflow and Draw

The Venty has an adjustable flow dial, which Storz & Bickel lists as up to 20 liters per minute, so you can choose between a slow, restricted draw and a free, open one. Its integrated cooling unit keeps the vapor smooth across that range. The Mighty+ has a fixed airflow path with a swivel mouthpiece and efficient cooling unit, and many owners like its steady, predictable draw. If you are fussy about draw resistance, the dial is a strong reason to pick the Venty. If you like a plain device without adjustments, the Mighty+ is fine.

4. Battery and Charging

Both use two lithium-ion cells and USB-C. Storz & Bickel quotes about 80% in around 40 minutes for each when you use its supercharger. Ordinary USB chargers work but take longer. The Mighty+ can run from the wall with a 15 V / 3 A supercharger, even with a flat battery, and shows "dct" on the display when it does. The Venty does not support pass-through, because it draws more power than USB-C chargers can supply during use. The Venty has an ECO charging mode, which moderates power flow to protect the battery over time. Neither battery is user-replaceable, so wear is handled through Storz & Bickel's service. For charge lights, care and replacement, see our Mighty+ and Crafty+ battery guide.

5. App and Controls

The Venty has Bluetooth and the Web App, where you can change temperatures, adjust screen brightness, switch on ECO charging and get firmware updates. It also turns itself off two minutes after the last use. The Mighty+ is a push-button device with a clear display and the presets above, and our product page does not list an app for it. If you like to fine-tune settings on your phone, the Venty is the better match. If you prefer to press a button and go, the Mighty+ is simpler.

6. Accessories

The two devices share a lot. The glass capsules (no lid) on our site are listed for the Venty, Crafty and Mighty, and the same applies to our glass chamber reducers and our normal and coarse screen sets. Mouthpieces and bubblers are more device-specific, because the Venty has its own, so check the product name. Browse the Mighty and Crafty accessories or the Venty accessories collection, and see our Venty starter kit guide for first additions. These are third-party parts made by The Vapetrix, not official Storz & Bickel parts. The Mighty+ ships with one dosing capsule, a cleaning brush and spare screens and seals.

7. Cleaning and Upkeep

Both devices need the same basic care. Keep the filling chamber and cooling unit free of residue, brush the chamber after sessions, and replace screens and seals when they wear. The Mighty+ comes with spare normal and coarse screens, base sealing rings and a cleaning brush. The Venty comes with spare normal and coarse screens, cooling unit screens, two O-rings, a filling chamber tool and a cleaning brush. Our Mighty screen maintenance guide covers the Mighty side in detail, and the same habits help on the Venty. Neither device is complicated to keep clean, so this should not decide your purchase.

8. Quick Answers

Do the Mighty+ and Venty use the same capsules? The glass capsules we sell are listed for the Venty, Crafty and Mighty, so yes, for those products. Always check the product page for your exact device.

Which one is easier for a first-time buyer? The Mighty+ has fewer settings to think about. The Venty has more, but the defaults work well and the app is optional.

Is the Venty worth the extra money? If heat-up time and adjustable airflow matter to you, yes. If you mostly want a dependable portable, the Mighty+ gives you the same temperature range for less.

9. Which One Should You Buy?

Pick the Venty if:

  • You want the fastest heat-up and an adjustable draw.
  • You like using an app for settings and updates.
  • You will use it many times a day, and speed matters.

Pick the Mighty+ if:

  • You want a proven, simple portable and a lower price.
  • You value pass-through use while plugged in.
  • You are happy to wait about a minute and keep one fixed airflow.

Final Thoughts

The Mighty+ and the Venty share their core strengths: hybrid heating, the same temperature range, fast charging and compatible accessories. The Venty adds speed, adjustable airflow and an app, and the Mighty+ keeps things simple and costs less. If you cannot decide, think about how you use a vaporizer. Short, frequent sessions favor the Venty. A steady, no-fuss routine suits the Mighty+. Either way, browse the Mighty and Crafty accessories and Venty accessories to build out your setup.
