Check before you order: This adapter only works one way: 14mm female in, 18mm male out. Check that the piece you're connecting has a 14mm male joint (frosted on the outside) and that the piece it goes into has an 18mm female joint (a socket). It won't turn a male joint into a female one, and it won't fit other joint sizes.

What does a 14/18 adapter do?
It joins a 14mm male glass joint to an 18mm female glass joint, for example a 14mm WPA going into a bubbler or water tool with an 18mm female joint.
Which end is male and which is female?
The 14mm end is female: a socket that a 14mm male joint pushes into. The 18mm end is male: the frosted outside that goes into an 18mm female joint.
Can it go from 18mm down to 14mm?
No. It only takes a 14mm male piece into an 18mm female piece. It can't connect an 18mm male piece to a 14mm female piece.
How do I check my joint size?
A male joint is frosted on the outside; a female joint is a socket. If the listing for your WPA or water tool gives the joint size, go by that. Otherwise measure across the joint: it will be close to 10mm, 14mm or 18mm.
How do I clean it?
Soak it in isopropyl alcohol, rinse it with warm water and let it dry fully before use.
